Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant(Vietnam)
On October 7, 2004, YMEC signed a contract on supply of a complete set of hydro-mechanical equipment and technical services for Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant (TQ HPP) with Song Da Corporation, a large-sized state owned construction enterprise directly under the Ministry of Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Situated in Tuyen Quang Province and about 300km away from Hanoi, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant has a total installed capacity of 340MW (3X114MW) and total hydraulic steel structures supplied by YMEC is around 7300 tons, including plain gates and radial gates for 6 inlets (6m×12m) of the power intake, 8 bottom outlets (4.5m×6m) and 4 surface outlets (14.5m×11m) of the spillway, three steel penstocks with a diameter of 7.5m, 18 sets of hydraulic hoists and 3 sets of gantry cranes.
