Dachunhe Cascade Hydropower Project (China)
Dachunhe Cascade Hydropower Project consists of a series of diversion type hydropower stations with about 150MW installed capacity in Xinping county of Yuxi municipality, namely, three cascade hydropower stations with 56MW installed capacity along Dachun river, two cascade hydropower stations with 30MW installed capacity along Nanen river, Shili rever hydropower station with 20MW installed capacity and other three small scale hydropower stations along Zhuqing river. Located within Shuitang town in west Xinping County, east side of Ailao Mountain, this series of hydropower stations will be backbone hydropower stations in Xinping power grid and an important power supply source in Yuxi power grid after them being put into operation. Dachun river (3) hydropower station had been put into operation and connected with power grid in December, 2005. Dachun river (2) hydropower station will be completed in October, 2007 and Dachun river (1) hydropower station will be finished in June, 2008.
